Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Conduct, content, and security rules that apply to everyone using the BizBlasts platform and sites we host, including business owners, staff, and end customers.

Effective date: June 1, 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of the BizBlasts platform, including our website, the application, custom-domain sites we host, communications features (SMS, email, calls), payment processing, and APIs. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to business owners, staff, end customers, and anyone else who interacts with the platform.

2. Lawful Use

You must use BizBlasts only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including consumer-protection, privacy, marketing, telecom, tax, sector-specific, and licensing rules that apply to your business.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not use BizBlasts to publish, transmit, store, or facilitate any of the following:

  • Content that is illegal, infringes intellectual-property rights, or violates rights of privacy or publicity.
  • Sexually explicit content involving minors, child sexual abuse material, or any other content that exploits or endangers children.
  • Threats of violence, harassment, stalking, hateful conduct, or content that incites violence against an individual or group.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading offers, claims, reviews, testimonials, pricing, or business credentials.
  • Unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited SMS, robocalls, scraping, phishing, malware distribution, or other abusive communications.
  • Sales of goods or services prohibited by law where they are sold, or sales prohibited by our payment processor (for example, items on Stripe’s restricted list).
  • Multi-level-marketing schemes, pyramid schemes, gambling, drug paraphernalia, weapons, or other categories restricted by the payment processor.
  • Content that misrepresents your identity, your business, or your affiliation with a person or organization.

4. Platform Integrity and Security

You may not, and must not allow others to:

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any BizBlasts system without our prior written consent.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, multi-tenant isolation, billing, or any other access controls.
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform, including by overloading systems, abusing background workers, or sending excessive automated requests.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform, except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Access data belonging to other tenants, other users, or other businesses without authorization.
  • Use the platform to build, train, or benchmark a competing product, except to the extent prohibited by law.

5. Communications: Email, SMS, and Calls

If you use email, SMS, or calling features, you are responsible for collecting valid consent from your recipients and honoring opt-out, unsubscribe, and do-not-call requests. You must:

  • Only send messages to recipients who have agreed to receive them.
  • Include accurate sender identification and, where required, a clear way to opt out.
  • Honor opt-outs (such as STOP) promptly across all related lists.
  • Avoid using BizBlasts for high-risk message types (premium SMS, lotteries, certain regulated industries) that are prohibited by our carriers or the law.

6. Customer Data

If you collect, process, or store data about customers, leads, or other end users through your BizBlasts site, you are responsible for handling that data lawfully, securely, and in line with the promises you make to those individuals. Do not upload data you do not have the right to use, and do not use BizBlasts to handle data categories the platform is not designed for.

7. Reporting Abuse

To report content or behavior that violates this AUP — for example, a BizBlasts-hosted site that appears to be fraudulent, infringing, or unsafe — please email bizblaststeam@gmail.com with as much detail as possible (URL, date and time, and a description of the issue).

8. Enforcement

We investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may take action that we consider appropriate, up to and including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, removing custom domains, refusing service, retaining or refunding fees, and cooperating with law-enforcement requests. We may act without prior notice when the situation warrants (for example, to protect users, third parties, or the platform).

9. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. If we make material changes, we may post the revised version on the site, update the effective date above, or use other reasonable means to notify you.
